Mandatory! Eat and drink in the Luisenviertel! #Favorite place. You should reserve, unfortunately always full. Stupid for spontaneous guests when two guests hold onto a glass of water and therefore others cannot use the table for dinner. Then it's time to wait, wait, wait ... Service please!

The fool's gold is just wonderful. Breakfast in particular is always worth a detour. Healthy, tasty, fair. In addition, a warm ambience. Absolute recommendation.

Each table is separated by a plexiglass pane. Dogs are not only allowed, but got something to drink straight away. The service staff is friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. There is vegan and vegetarian food. Price and performance are good. Everything was fresh and tasty.

Every time I come to Wuppertal, I'm drawn to fool's gold. I feel at home here, the food is good and original, the prices reasonable, and the staff friendly and attentive. It's really casual. I always feel well received and served. If someone should mind that I should raise the average age with my over 60 years, then I am sorry. I will come back anyway.

Was finally here again with my best friend for breakfast and it was sooo good, delicious and pleasant. We really enjoyed our time here.

Always misunderstood by me, the Katzengolddoch is a first-class address for a great breakfast as well as a very nice evening. Good prices and a selection are guaranteed, and fool's gold is an engine of cosiness for the Louisenviertel.

A delicious coffee in the morning, a delicious selection of cold cuts and friendly service. Something for everyone. The bread selection could be expanded. The surroundings are really quiet and the people there seem calmer and happier than in the city.

I wanted to have a coffee here in the morning. According to Google Maps, the café is open from 8:00 a.m. At 8:10 a.m. it was still locked. I haven't waited any longer. Pity! When I choose the café out of seven or eight comparable ones, finally find a parking space and also have a parking clock to feed, it's just annoying and not customer-oriented.

Delicious food and a good selection of vegetarian and vegan alternatives, large portions, very friendly, courteous staff, well-kept toilets, fresh and appealing cocktails. Big crowd, but not too loud due to the division of the tables. Reservation recommended.

I always like to come back! The staff is very friendly and attentive but not pushy. I can comfortably spend a good time there, enjoy the beautiful roses on the house walls and the good food, round off the perfect lunch or evening there.

A great cafe/restaurant serving both coffee and cake and a full restaurant menu. There is always a good range of items on the blackboard to choose from. Also good for breakfast.

Good food but simple menu. More of a breakfast in the morning but bar at night. Service was friendly and helpful.

A very Lively and popular establishment on peak times. Serves food, not indulged but smelt enticing. Friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor areas, due to the entrance steps would say that wheelchair access is prohibited. That said their may be secondary access which is more suitable. In the heart of the old town with a very vibrant atmosphere.

One of the most well known cafés in Wuppertal Luisen quarter. Has been there for ages and constantly strives to improve. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner, especially the daily menu. Even cake is quite tasty and has some options. Nice staff and great atmosphere. It's rather full, as it is very popular with every age group, so reservations are helpful. Also daily menu and cakes sometimes are already gone for the day. Better be early. ? Full recommendation. Give it a try on any day.
